Leadership Training for Christ is designed for kids from 3rd through 12th grades. The goal of LTC is to stimulate, encourage and develop our youth in the areas of leadership, spiritual growth, and Christian service. Through this development, our youth will become responsible church leaders and also Christian leaders in their homes, schools, and work. During this process, we pray to create in the hearts of our youth the "desire" to serve God and others through their various gifts.

The local LTC team is made up of the students, the coaches, the parents, and the LTC ministry leader. The kids decide what area(s) they want to participate in, and then coordinate with their coaches and their parents. The parents are a key factor in making LTC work.

LTC culminates in an annual convention. Though there are conventions all across the country, we participate in the Heart of America convention in Kansas City. Every year, there are over 1300 students, parents, and friends at the Sheraton Hotel where the convention is held. Students from all over Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Colorado made the pilgrimage to Kansas City to participate in LTC.

There are both pre-convention events and convention events that are to go along with the year's theme. With pre-convention events, the student does not have to attend the convention, but merely sends his entry in. For convention events, the student needs to attend the convention. Some events are team events, and others are individual events.
